Life can be difficult at times! Sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle that we forget to take a moment to properly take care of ourselves. I want you to stop and truly think about the last time you celebrated yourself or looked in the mirror and said " I'm proud of you, I love you!"
Now take a moment and ask yourself the following questions. Journaling is such a wholesome form of self-care. It opens up the door to inward evaluation and growth. If you enjoy writing, I challenge you to complete the journal prompt below.
What does self-care mean to me?
What activities do I currently practice in my self-care routine?
What is my current self-care routine missing?
Identify several times you could potential implement self-care into your everyday routine (e.g. when I wake up, when I go to sleep, during my lunch break, etc.)
How can you be more intentional about implementing self-care into your everyday routine?
It's important to be honest with yourself. If you cannot implement self-care everyday, start by implementing acts of self-care in your existing routine. smaller with choosing one day out of the week (e.g. "Self-Care Saturday").
