Periodically, I will post a quote, scripture, interview, or challenge intended to help provide inspiration and motivation in a series called Motivation Monday. We're excited to kick off our very first Motivation Monday post!
Today, the focus of Motivation Monday will be on the "Our Deepest Fear" poem by Mariam Williamson from her "A return to love: Reflections on principles of a course in Miracles" book. Notably, this poem was recited in Coach Carter (2005) and Akeelah and the Bee (2006). Coach Carter frequently asked Timo Cruz, one of his players, "What is your deepest fear?" Similarly, Laurence Fishburne who plays Dr. Larabee continuously pushed Akeelah to go beyond her self-perceived doubts. For reference, check out the video below.
Now, ask yourself, what is your deepest fear? What is stopping you from launching that business, earning that degree, and chasing after your dreams wildly? When you realize that you are more powerful than you could ever imagine your life will truly begin to change forever.
Do you have someone in your corner who challenges you to rise above your doubts and fears like Coach Carter or Dr. Larabee? If you do, that is great, but always remember that you can never have too many people rooting for you in your corner. But if your answer was no, please don’t let that stop you. You don’t have to navigate your journey alone. You deserve support, accountability, and someone who sees your potential even when you don’t. We’re here to support, guide, and help you reach your full potential. All you have to do is take that first bold step by filling out the new client interest form on our website. The biggest dreams start with the smallest steps. Ready, set, transformation! Let’s start building the future you’ve been dreaming about.
